Disappointed in TurboTax

Disappointed that TurboTax still allows you to select Refund by Mail as an option on the Federal Return, while the IRS only does Direct Deposit. How did you guy miss that??????

Always a good experience

TurboTax is as reliable as ever. I've used it for 40+ years and never been disappointed.
This year encountered a software problem - the program froze and displayed an error message. There was no way to proceed. The automated system recommended a fix, that did not fix. I called requesting live tech support. After a frustratingly long wait, the tech was able to get everything working properly again. High marks for TutboTax tech support.

Take Your Wallet Out! Turbotax Has Add-ons

As with last year (2024), I feel Turbotax has become a platform for revenue streams like tax advice, product upgrades, and audit insurance policies. The product has lost most of its in-program help features as if to steer users to live tax advice. It is easier for me to google the help I seek such as where to find K1 forms than look at the program's kaleidoscope help section on line.

Additional costs/upselling

The amount of upselling is very disappointing. The way you have to enter credit card info before you even start a state tax return....and the extra cost of filing the state tax return...with the additional costs going to a tax office is sometimes more economical
