Turbo Tax and agents are Fantastic

First time users of Turbo Tax. Your service was fantastic. Especially John P. & Shondra L. on the $60 advice line.
Only complaint is we purchased the Turbo Tax Deluxe for Federal & State but were charged an additional $25 to file our Minnesota Return

Turbo tax fix it until its broken

If I could give zero stars I would. Paid 25 dollars to efile my SC state taxes only to be denied the ability to transmit the efile. Kept getting error message that i needed to update my version of turbo tax 2024 but when i tried to update got message saying my version was current and up to date. Had to print it and use snail mail, 25 dollars right down the drain thanks Intuit garbage turbo tax........for nothing!!!

BE AWARE that by completing the requested survey, TurboTax OPTS YOU IN to their future solicitations - this quote is taken from the TurboTax Review page: "You may receive emails regarding this submission. Any emails will include the ability to opt-out of future communications." Would be great to have the ability to opt out immediately, not after TurboTax sells you email address.
As for the 2024 Desktop product -- Meh, lots of back-n-forth between the Easy Form and actually filed form to see what's happening in the background. Several spots where it's not clear how to fix or change something. Example - during the review of my forms to be filed, I saw on the 1040 that the Presidential Election Campaign $3 contribution box was checked and I simply wanted to "uncheck" that box but could not. Took a few minutes looking around the "Help" section to find the way to do this. Would have been so simple IF I could have simply deselected the box directly on the form.
Had another issue trying to resolve errant Estimated Taxes calculations - took a while to find the underlying worksheet to make necessary corrections.
Then even after Turbo Tax did it's FINAL REVIEW and said my taxes where Guaranteed 100% CORRECT, I printed my forms for my personal review prior to filing. On each of my Form 1040-ES vouchers I found in large bold lettering "DO NOT FILE - FORM NOT FINAL - DO NOT FILE". I spent the better part of 45-60 attempting to resolve this without success and gave up. Filed anyways and moved on with my life - until I got to this review:)

I liked last year's version more.

Relatively easy to use. There is a problem with the driver's license. It does not display a box to indicate an issue date. You can't continue if you don't respond to this and you can't. I just picked 1 box by random and used it (year only) and that let me continue. We'll see if there's any problem with that but I doubt it.
