Great once you get used to it

Have been using TurboTax for several years. I know it's idiosyncrasies. Works well for me because I am used to it. The only issue I have with it is that it still does not know how to handle RMDs from the Thrift Savings Plan in Oregon. Every year I have to manually adjust it.

Get Turbotax!

I've used Turbotax for about 10 years, rarely ever have a problem, and when I did, it was minor. Our tax guy started charging over $300 each year, and I put on the brakes. Turbotax gets us exactly what we need, and is extremely easy to use and understand

Some issues

It has become harder to use instead of simpler over the years. The process for manually entering your tax forms- 1099 Int, Divs and R- is too complex. Also, I couldn't e-file initially due to TTAx having updates that needed to be installed- but I had checked this prior TO filing.
And my forms show TTAx gives me $5 off on cost of filing the state taxes- but I got charged the full amount.

TurboTax use with Windows 11 ONLY

Why don't you instruct purchases before that TurboTax is only compatible with Windows 11 only. My Windows 10 allowed me to file the Federal Tax form but not the State tax form.
