Bad Vibe Software

Software for the most part okay but why everything has to go through Adobe to print out correctly is uncalled for. Plus the free trial con game with McAfee. You trick people into getting your lawyer's fee and so a wasted $60 for a simple file is another con you folks provide. The $20 to e-file state is another charge you do not need to add on to the picture.

State has a glitch

I love Turbo Tax however I am not sure if there is a glitch or what. On the state return form when you do the review, when you hit the continue button once reviewed it takes you to the page to buy help then when you cancel that it just takes you back to the reviewed page again and when you hit continue it just keeps going back and forth.

Easy to understand and file

I've been using Turbo Tax since 1999. It walks through the process every step of the way.
I also appreciate the audit defense option. I've never been audited, but I like the security of having TT behind me if I should face an audit.

Bug Still Not Fixed

I got all the way to the Transmit Returns button and received a failed_validation error. Upon researching this, I learned it's been a common problem for at least a couple of years and Intuit has not remedied it. This is completely unacceptable. What should have taken me an hour to complete ended up taking much longer because I had to figure out how to remedy this meaningless error on my own.
