2024 Turbo Tax Gets an F- on Processing RMDs

Most everything was OK this year, except you get a resounding "F-" on processing RMD information. If a taxpayer has more than one IRA and in under withdrawals on one and over withdrawals on the other, then TurboTax comes up with a penalty even though the total RMD is satisfied. There are dozens of complaints on the internet on this subject and the solutions presented in TurboTax Community are flat WRONG!

Getting old

Seemed so vague on expectations and just as complicated as the IRS website. Kind of losing the benefit of using the program when its not much better than the free stuff. Lots of questions but couldn't get answers without paying extra, and not sure if even after paying I could get an answer so why bother.

Frustrating

This year filing with turbotax was very frustrating. 1) I wanted to adjust numbers with my deductions and could not turn off the auto save function. So it felt like fighting the program. I ended up making a duplicate to be able to do this. 2) The program did not allow me to file my state taxes (Colorado) via the mail. Instead, was only given the option to e-file which cost extra money to file. Ultimately, I did not want to file state taxes via e-filing.

Completing a step, then being taken all the way to the top of the page and having to scroll back down to continue seems unnecessary? Absolutely annoying!!!
