A LOT OF MUMBO JUMBO WITH TURBO TAX WANTING YOU TO SIGN IN EVERY CHANCE THEY CAN GET YOU TO, INCLUDING TRYING TO JUST PAY TO TRANSMIT MY STATE RETURN I HAD TO SIGN IN. TURBO TAX IS DESPERATE FOR THE INFORMATION OF THE PEOPLE USING YOUR SOFTWARE. I NO LONGER HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER AND GOT A NEW ONE WHICH TURBO TAX REQUIRES ME TO USE TO SIGN IN TO VERIFY. IF I DONT HAVE THE NUMBER YOU WANT ME TO SEND YOU A PIC OF MY ID WHEN I CAN JUST SIMPLY CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT WHICH IVE HAD TOO. YOU GUYS WANT WAY TO MUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION TO STORE IN YOUR SYSTEMS. NAME, PHONE NUMBER, ADDRESS, SOCIAL, MARITAL STATUS, MY CATS NAME. SIGN IN, SIGN IN, SIGN IN...I WILL BE SEARCHING FOR NEW TAX SOFTWARE FOR NEXT YEAR.

My tax situation seems to change yearly but I don't worry about it because TurboTax has handled everything for decades.

I have used TTax Desktop for over 20 years and have been pleased, however at the filing stage, when it switched me over to TTAX ONLINE, IT WAS CONFUSING, AND I COULDN'T GO BACK TO FILING. I HAD TO SHUT DOWN THE PROGRAM AND RESTART BEFORE IT WOULD LET ME E-FILE MY RETURNS.

12 years using since retiring. Pretty straight-forward. Each year gets a bit harder, but that is due to my age not software (I used to be in that business and know what it means to make "user friendly" systems. This product has kept that purpose rather than making users be "system friendly". Good for them!

RMD problem area.

I had a problem with the wording in the RMD section asking about RMD amounts.
evidently so did a lot of other people. The questions need to be asked in a clearer manner.
