NEED TO DO A BETTER VALIDATION OF SOFTWARE

THE PROGRAM WAS FINE, BUT A BIT OF A GLITCH WHEN I FILED. I WANTED TO E FILE THE FEDERAL, BUT NOT THE STATE. THOUGH I CHECKED FEDERAL YES AND STATE NO, IT KEPT TRYING TO MAKE ME CHECK E FILE FOR STATE. IT KEPT SAYING I NEEDED TO CHECK SOMETHING TO E FILE. I DID CHECK FEDERAL, BUT NOT STATE. IT WOULD NOT LET ME GO FURTHER. SO I JUST PRINTD MY STATE AND SENT IT IN.

TurboTax Deluxe Desktop program locked up

TurboTax Deluxe desktop version would lock up and not allow me to input information other than personal info. Had to call customer service; Representative was able solve my problem by having me run the program as an administrator.

Happy with Turbo Tax so far

Experienced user for a few decades. Currently our taxes are simple since we're both retired. Live in WA state so a state income tax return is not required since WA doesn't collect one. Did encounter a TurboTax snafu with the state return?? We don't qualify for the Working Families Tax Credit (WFTC) but TTax kept prompting for us to file with the state which didn't make sense. This sounds like something in the program needs work.
