Almost awesome, but not quite

Overall I am satisfied. Next year's estimated tax preparation should be made more easily found instead of being relegated to 'Other tax situation' in the Federal and 'Other forms' in the New York State. The New York State version also oddly allows scheduling of only one estimated tax, instead of the required four. That is my reason of giving you only four, instead of five stars.

Turbotax locked up

Software locked up three times, credit card would not run until I shut down the software, ran CCleaner and started over. I've used TurboTax for years but this was the worst year ever for the software.

Turbo Tax has gotten more confusing and difficult

Did not sum RMD or RMD taken.

I took all of my RMD, Turbo Tax did not accurately sum up either my RMD or what I took out. I needed to file a waiver to remove the extra tax that the software added. The help section is limited. I found more assistance using Edge Copilot. Have said that. I will continue to use Turbo Tax because transferring data from the prior year saves time.

terrible experience

terrible experience. tried to e file many unsuccessful times before giving up and proceeding by mail. never use turbotax anymore, even though ive used it for at least the last 10 years.
