Nice to be able to file myself, but not helpful an

Not very good spent over two hours trying to figure out why something went down because apparently my software had been deactivated but no such message to tell me that. On the error check so many errors that popped up that I had no clue what to fill in not very helpful.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Turbotax is Easy to Use

The product is easy to use and is generally quick in terms of data entry and verification. The explanation for state exemptions on interest was a bit more complicated in that it required opening several windows. However, the information seemed to make sense. The process of transmitting the tax returns is very easy.

Programming Errors

I had a problem not with the correct forms top file,but with the program itself. I thought importing data from Fidelity Investments would simplify my taxes. I was unable to incorporate the download and meanwhile Turbo Tax insisted that I complete a 1099 B worksheet apparently anticipating the download. Accordingly I was unable to electronically file though I had paid for the privelage

Awesome

Turbo tax was awesome, until I tried to print a Michigan state tax return for mailing rather than e-file. I found the instructions down under the direct deposit information. It seemed like a strong push toward the $20.00 e-file fee.
