State school tax forms no longer available to e-file or even print out a hard copy. Now headed to local tax to get forms and manually file. Going to a local preparer next year. If I have to leave the house to file a required state form, I might as well do it locally and keep my money in our small town.

I've used Turbotax for over 30 years now and its great except for one thing thats very confusing. You should make it easier for New York people or others to be able to figure how to put their property taxes and school taxes. I must have wasted at least 30 minutes trying to input it to no avail. I had the same problem last year. Years ago you could input it very easily

Love the interview and I've used TT for nearly 15 years. I would buy any other product. That said, there are some minor annoyances: When you go back through previous interviews, it will keep check-box choices you made, unless you say "none of the above" or "none of these apply" or something similar, in which case it sometimes drops your answer. It shouldn't drop ANYTHING you've already checked. Also, if you're self-employed and make 401K contributions there is an error on the Keogh/SEP/401K worksheet on line 6a. The actual error originates on the K-1 though and it's very tough to figure that out. There appears to be several years of complaints about this in Intuit forums with no acknowledgment from Intuit of the error much less a fix. Also, if you're self employed, they bury the question about self-employed health insurance in a part of the interview that has nothing to do with expenses or insurance or deductions. Again, still 4 stars but it could be a bit better.
