Turbotax Deluxe 2024 is a very good product. However, I only needed to file with a standard deduction.
We qualified for a free file. We started filing online with the free file and finished with the paid Turbotax product.
For certain the online free file was not user-friendly. No easy way to review the return. The user interface not intuitive.
But of course the paid version was much more easier to navigate.
** We suggest major navigation improvements be made for those that qualify for free file online next year - 2025 tax returns - thank you for your consideration.

It's great except for an issue we had with brokerage 1099-r forms. We had to force an entry in box 16 that did not match our 1099-r. Should not have to do things like that.

Turbo Tax state return not transmitting

I spoke with Sara from Georgia on an issue I was having in transmitting my state return. It was more complicated than I thought but Sara worked with me to get it figured out. She was very polite and professional, and I very much appreciated working with her. She did a great job!!
