I had a little glitch in downloading the program,but I was able to (finally) open the program and completed the whol process in just a few hours. I have used Turbo Tax for years, and will continue to do so for years to come.

Pretty straight forward but allow some time to get it all done and sent. I would add a help button for the tax town or district abbreviation for the state return but that's about it...

Turbotax desktop 2024 needs work

Used Turbotax Desktop 2024. Product has many glitches and I was unable to bring up several pages that required info. Examples are County for state return, Property Tax, Federl ID #. After several hours of trying to work with the desktop version, I ended up using the online version and downloading the data file into the desktop. There are no tips that tell you to do this. 1 other concern on the online version is the cost bait and switch. I should know how much it will cost for the service before I get to the end. a couple of simple questions at the front would determine cost.

Would have been 5 stars had it not been the difficulty locating the place to enter the PIN without having to manually go to the Forrm 1040 itself.

I have used Turbotax for many years. It gets the job done. This year I called for customer support to inquire about the $25 fee for state tax electronic filing. I thought it was free with the Deluxe version. First call, she hung up on me after I gave my name and phone number. She did not call back and I stayed on hold for 45 minutes. Then someone else picked up my call. She told me it was free if I mailed it; $25 electronic filing. Then she hung up on me when I said it was confusing. Don't know if I'll stay with Turbotax.
