Easy and straight forward. Covers each tax situation with understandable terminology, then walks you through each situation. W-2 and financial institution auto input is great. Cost effective.

Overcharged on E-filing for state.

It was unfortunate that I was told that e- filing my State of Michigan taxes would cost me $20.00 But when I went on the pop-up window to pay with my credit card to Intuit it charged me $25.00 Classic bait & switch when you really have no other option at that point Disappointed

First time ever to sour a bit on Turbo Tax

Have used turbo tax for many years and it works fine. When finalizing my taxes for filing there was a special price reduction from $25 to $20 for state filing. But when I got to that point in filing I was charged $25. Not a big deal but still if they were not going to give the $5 then don't offer it.

Have been using Turbotax to do my taxes for at least 15-20 years. Have never any problems with it. Instructions are very clear and precise. Would recommend to anyone who wants do their own taxes.
