Processing my fairly straight forward return is convenient but the $25 state filing fee is twice what another online source fee is.

Easy to use

I've used turbo tax for at least 12 years and have had only one issue with using the disc version. It didn't work. Other than that I have no complaints. It is easy to navigate and the prompts help guide you through the process. I have heard from others that they get a better return if using a actual accountant but I pay for the convivence of it all with Turbo tax. I don't have to go anywhere, or speak to anyone if I choose not to and can save everything electronically.

Great Product for Learning

What I like about TurboTax is that it helps me learn how the taxes work. This gives me more options of how to conduct business and make good tax choices. In general it leaves me with a strong feeling of agency and accomplishment to do my own taxes. Sometimes there is more tax jargon in the "explanations" than I would like; that is, the explanations are not always written for someone doesn't understand and wants to.
