TurboTax, An example of true Illogical programing

In order to change my property tax amount, I had to go through the interest paid to lender menu. A totally stupid idea. You should have noted this somewhere. There were other data entries which hardly anyone in their right mind could figure out. I have used TurboTax and other Inuit products for more than 20 years. Each year it improves in some areas and gets worse in others.

The program is good until I try to print my return

I have a very hard time printing my forms to mail. filling out the forms is easy, but it is ridiculous that i have to ask someone to help. I have been doing this for years and have had very little problems until last year and this year.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I bought or sold investments, I had a baby

WAS EASY TO FILL OUT, HAD A PROBLEM WITH PERSONAL PIN SENT BY IRS WAS NOT ASK TO ENTER SO SUBMITED WIYH OUT. ALSO WAS FORCE TO PAY FOR STATE RETURN WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE FREE.

We have used Turbo Tax for years and find in fairly easy to navigate. We like the explanations it gives when we have a question about part of the taxes we are working on.

First time ever bumps

I had two problems:
1. I could not change anything in the original registration page. I made an error and did not register my product as "Advanced" (which it was), and because I could not change it, I failed to get the perks included in the Advanced, including the discount for e-filing my state.
2. When I made an error reporting a pension payout as "total RMD", reentering correct information did not work. Had to delete that entry completely and reenter it before the program would let go of the erroneous RMD amount.
