Great but one pretty expensive glitch.

For years I would use the Q software and Turbo Tax and completed my own taxes. As life became more complicated, I got a little afraid to do them myself so I went to an accountant for the last 10 years. Fast forward to today, at first it was a fairly smooth process except the software took a while of installing where it looked like nothing was happening. As if freezes were occurring. When it finally installed, entering everything, pretty straight forward. I entered everything it asked except at some point, I missed entering ONE state tax figure. The system did not alert me, and so I went through to the end. Suddenly, when I started the State taxes, I saw I was owing nearly $5k!! That was alarming because we plan our taxes throughout the year to break even towards the end. I had to go back and review every line in my Federal but no errors were detected. The software was not smart enough to detect I had left a typical and NEEDED entry off/ When I found it, the State came back to our typical yearly number. That experience made me feel like "what else" is wrong with this system. I received a "LOW AUDIT" score but do I and can I trust it?

Turbo Tax is so easy to use.

Turbo Tax is so easy to use, walking you through the process step by step to make sure you do not miss anything. I have used Turbo Tax for many years and will continue to use it.

Turbo Tax Is Adequate

I am not thrilled that a disc is no longer available. I have intermittent internet issues and the down load was a problem.

GA State Tax return is terribel

I think the Federal Tax Return is a competent product but I have become increasingly unhappy w/ the quality of the (GA) state tax program after only 2 tries. It is unnecessarily obtuse and difficult to understand and I do not trust the end product. If I survive this tax season unscathed I am going to change to another program

I'm an advantage member. It said I would be charged $20 for filing my state return. I was charged the normal $25. Please fix this glitch, and if I could get my $5 back, that would be a bonus.
