Doing it on paper next year

The inability to locate topics is beyond frustrating. It feels like I'm begging the program to take my info, but it will not. It makes errors bringing forward data from TT from last year. Telling me my return is rejected for info you never asked for is ridiculous, let alone the uphill battle involved in finding and correcting the error. Definitely not worth my time to decipher and definitely not worth the price.

The CD based program worked better

Prior years were better using the CD. This year my Social Security income did not transfer and for some reason the software kept telling me I needed to file a Washington State Return which is not true for my income level.

State form not available through Turbo Tax but is available online through state website. In past, navigating returns was straight forward. Now we had to go find fields to complete on our own. Filing jointly is a headache on how it flows.
