We have used TurboTax since it first came out. It's always made tax filing much less stressful. It's nice to have explanations at our fingertips and the feeling of knowing that our taxes will be done right. Of course, the general rule is "trash in/trash out" but if you have all your paperwork together when you start your filing, it will be a breeze.

Software hanging up

Having used Turbo Tax for the past six years, the 2024 version was a step down from the others. Alot of problems with the software hanging up and being non responsive.

It was fast and efficient, as always. I let it lead me through everything so I wouldn't miss income sources and/or deductions. I have high confidence in the accuracy of my return. 25+ years I've been using TurboTax, and it gets better every year!

Complicated to E-file Federal then Print States

This is my third year using Turbo Tax. I file two states so after paying an additional $30 for a second state I did not want to pay an additional $50 to e-file the state taxes. I found it very difficult to go back and print the states for mailing after e-filing Federal. I worked through it but I think the folks could make things much easier in the directions and selection process. Other than that very pleased with the software.
