The installment sale section doesn't work.

The installment sale section doesn't work. It never asked me the principal payment received which is subject to capital gains tax. I had to consult other tax professionals to figure out where to enter that number myself.

In my opinion, TurboTax is still the best!!

I've been using TurboTax since 2004. I won't change. Their steps through the process are easy to follow. Once I've gathered my tax information, I can usually complete both my federal and state taxes in 20 minutes. Love that the program reads in the previous year, fills in all the necessary information for the current year and based on the previous year's information, walks me through the process. Only differences are the numbers I entered into the perspective columns.

Turbo Tax good, but needs improvement

Able to complete tax filing without help from one of your specialists. Suggest you review filing process for paper state tax filing at same time as electronic federal tax filing. Not very user friendly at present. Should be rather easy software enhancement to implement.
