Please return the "skip" button for update screen

Please return the button which allows one skip the update. It used to be available. Now if one needs to open TT several times in one day, the user needs to "update" multiple times each time involving a 4-5 minute wait or so.

I prefer having a disk mailed to me. I actually had to contact intuit and have a guy walk me through how to download my turbo tax program.

I got help from a live expert. She was very kind & helpful. We couldnt figure out if it was a glitch with the IRS or Turbo Tax, but she gave me a work around & I believe it did work. I will find out in a couple of days if my returns went through, but I believe that it was successful.

TurboTax Continues to Shine with diminished luster

I have used TT and before it MacInTax for close to 40 years and almost look forward to doing my returns each year because of the ease of use provided by TT. The only complaint I had with this year's program was a problem I encountered with RMD (required minimal distribution) from my IRAs. After the 1099-R forms were downloaded (I had more than one IRA to include), the subsequent windows lacked specificity regarding the "total RMD" from my IRA. Did it refer to each specific source or to the total of all my IRAs. This confusion led to a consistent error which I eventually solved by searching the internet for an answer. I think the request for RMD information could have been better worded. In the end, "all's well that ends well."

When the last update came through, it caused SPIN issues in loading and certain tabs along the process, especially right before going to the E-file section. it made me question the product. It's never done this in the 30+ years I've used Turbotax.
