Seemed more complicated than past years. After completing the return and looking at forms, I hit exit and lost everything. In the past, it seemed Save? popped up automatically.

Cost me extra $45

Very frustrating. Wouldn't allow me to pay state filing fee with a credit card. Program hung up on my address and phone. When clicked continue to add the card number etc., it simply would not go. Only choice I had was to Pay $45 to take the $15 filing fee out of my refund. This doubled the cost of using Turbo Tax.

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for years and this is the first time my NJ State Tax Return was not ready to print in final form. I am very disappointed because I had already selected a filing date of 2/6/2025. To file on that date, I have to develop the NJ 1040 and additional forms manually from the worksheets in order to meet the deadline I selected. To date, I still cannot print my NJ State return for my records.
