Poor 2024 Edition

Did not do all calculations and income categories correctly. Had to pay for state returns to be e-filed when advertisements say one is included.

Although I will not use any tax product except Turbo Tax, I did run into a couple of situations this time.
1) I had to report gambling winnings and it kept saying 'review needed' but couldn't figure out what and it processed without me changing anything
2) we got a pin from IRS but your software only allows for a 5 digit pin and IRS sent 6 digit pins! I just used the pin I used last year (made up for Turbo)

I've been a Turbo Tax customer for many years and it has never let me down. Helps to catch anything you should think about and asks great questions to help guide you. For simple returns you can also just pick what you want work on or review if you are already familiar with your particular situation or things don't change much from year to year.

Great Use/Prep Features! Efiling charges are not!

Use and prep are great...but separate/additional charges for state e-filing are not appreciated and fall in the category of nickel and dime-ing your customers.
