Program bug

program gives the option to e-file the federal return alone and the state return later. When trying to e-file the state (CA) after the IRS accepted the federal return, program does not allow even though the "error" statement says to e-file the state return simultaneously with or after the fed. The program lists the fed return as accepted but won't let me e-file the CA return. Should I refile both together?

2024 Updater

When I tried to file my returns, I got an error, that said I needed to get the latest updates. When I did the update, I got the same "download Failed" I spent over and hour with "Todd" on a GLANCE call and could not solve the problem. The call failed twice and after the GLANCE connection dropped as well. When I called back the third time I was "BETTY". She checked for Windows updates, and applied them, had me restart TURBO TAX, I was able to FILE my return, entire call took less than 15 minutes. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
