Wouldn't do Taxes Any Other Way

I wouldn't do my taxes any other way than by using Turbo Tax Deluxe. It's thorough and easy to navigate. This is the first year I opted for Live Tax Advisor, and I'm glad I did. I spoke with a live person who answered my questions completely. I'll choose that option every year hereafter.

Fairly smooth process, and each year it gets a little easier. Didn't have to phone customer support, which is always a big time saver.

New page format may not be better

I'm not sure the page format change is for the better. A long time user of TurboTax I was thrown off by the new format and frustrated over not having the familiar look and feel.

TurboTax had an updating problem for this year

We had two issues for the 2025 tax season. 1. The March 18th update was problematic, so I had to completely uninstall the Windows application - and then re-install from scratch. 2. The importing from previous tax year's files showed a crazy spinning icon which took forever to complete. Please remove the time-wasting spinning icon that took considerable time to complete - and I could not move forward without it completing its function.

TurboTax e-filing Issue for WA State

TurboTax has a bug for WA state that will not allow e-filing. It's been complained about since Feb7th and there is still no fix from TT!
