Turbo Tax is excellent

App Quality is Degrading

>Updates were slow and in some cases crashed and the app restarted. >I do not like that there is not an option to NOT allow an update. Unless it is critical future versions should allow an opt-out of updates. >The app crashed when transitioning to e-file payment method. An then would not let m e-file after the crash. It wanted me to snail mail file. I finally had to find a previous saved version and go through the e-file steps again. >I have used Turbo Tax since the mid 90's and I am not happy with the performance and have seen it degrade over time.

Glitches more than in past years

There were major glitches this year in the importing of mutual fund data and also with entering some of my deductions. Not as good as previous years.

Better filing taxes by myself at home.

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now, I like filing my taxes myself at home. It's nice ta I can call an expert with any questions. I like doing it myself instead of going to an acountants office.

Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for many years with difficulty. This year I have had some gliches after the usual updates that load upon restarting my return. After the update the program would fall back to starting a new return or not start at-all and I would have to start the program by selecting the last save document. The program functioned normally after that action.
