I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for many years, but the 2024 version is very buggy compared to earlier versions.

Terrible kick-off to 2024 for Turbo Tax

I have been a turbo tax user for 25 years and always file on the first day that the IRS accepts taxes. However this year was a nightmare. Just when I need the refund the most for personal family emergencies, you Delay, Delay, Delay getting Form 8283 into the software even when the IRS finished the form. Seriously doubt I'll use turbo tax again!

Too Many Extra Fees

First you pay for federal and one state, thinking that it covers both federal and state e-filing. It doesn't. $25 for state filing. Then, because I moved this year I had to buy software for another state. Another $40, plus plus another $25 for state filing. So that $45 dollars I initially paid became $45 + $40 + $25 + $25. Goodbye Turbo Tax. Never again.
