Easier than Paper Taxes

This past year my spouse passed away. He always did the taxes while I sat next to him. This time I had to do it alone. TurboTax walked me through it and also allowed me to go back to edit specific sections.

We are both retired, so our taxes become easier over time. Turbo Tax makes it simple. We can usually finish our taxes in as little as 3 hours.

Import is clunky

The step by step process was more cumbersome than previous years. The steps were not as clear and it took longer to input our info. The import from external financial sources (investments primarily) was very clunky. TT should recognize that downloads from firms that were used in years past should be recognized instead of creating a new download.
