Be ready to install Rosetta on Apple Silicon

Had to install Rosetta to run on Apple Silicon. It has been out for almost 5 years and INTUIT cannot create an app that runs natively on Apple Silicon!

I spent a lot of time with your experts on several occasions as my computer was put in a safe mode and could only be recovered by reinstalling windows. I needed help in getting Turbotax downloaded since I had already downloaded it last Nov. I ran into several problems and they were very helpful in walking me through fixes.

I have a government issued PIN. You never prompt me to enter it and I come close to forgetting it every year. Also you continuously ask me to file state taxes even though I live in Tennessee, a state that has no income taxes. Once you know I don't have to file, please quit asking.

TurboTax -- New and Improved?

I have been using TurboTax for over 30 years, and I do NOT like the 2025 version at all. It was 5-star but in my opinion, it is now 4-star because the changes "dumb down" the process of adding tax information from investment managers like Fidelity. Before I could easily navigate to a manager and see all the entries. It seems much more difficult now, or perhaps I am just not familiar with the new product. In any event, I am unhappy with the changes.
