TurboTax is not helpful for late filing.

this software would be fine for filing the year of, but filing late it is terrible

Turbo Tax Not Ready for Tax Season

I filed my taxes on 1-21-2025 and chose to have all fees deducted from my federal tax return. During the process of confirming that I want the fees taken from my federal tax return the Turbo Tax program would close. I then reopened the program again and tried again to have the fees (State and Processing) deducted from my federal tax return. The Turbo Tax program had another glitch and shut down again. I then logged back in and used my credit card to charge the fees and then it allowed for my taxes to start processing. Also, when printing my tax documents, it did not include my Illinois state tax forms and gave me the option to be notified when the document would be available to be saved and or printed. I realize that I filed earlier than I have done in the past but when you release a program it should be ready for use when the tax filer has all of their documentation ready to complete filing their taxes.
I have wasted too much of my valuable time using your poorly rolled out product for the 2024 tax season and I am not sure if I will be charged twice for the $15 Illinois tax processing fee that I charged on my credit card to allow the program to proceed with my tax filing. I now have to monitor my federal return to see if the fee is deducted and then have to contact Turbo Tax to credit my charge card, so I do not pay twice for the same service. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years with no issue and now my opinion of your software is questionable at best.
I should charge your company a processing fee for all my inconveniences using your product…
