Turbo Tax is Easy and Fairly accurate

Easy to work with interview option. I did have to identify foreign interest/dividends off line - would have been nice to have Turbo tax identify these amounts on my behalf since the tax file was imported from Fidelity Investments

Why Windows 11 and not Windows 10

My home computer runs Windows 10. I had to find a laptop with Windows 11 to use Turbo Tax this year.

Turbo Tax was OK

Turbo Tax required more work than I bargained for. When Turbo Tax interfaced with the Vanguard site, there were numerous errors that required fixing. For some reason, some of the fields in Turbo Tax were not populated. This required additional Log ins to Vanguard to correct these errors

Importing difficult

Imported from Ameriprise and had to fill in a number of forms with addresses and names which was cumbersome. Did not have to do this on the last two years. Very frustrating.

I have used TurboTax and MacinTax before it for at least 20 years. I have found the software to be relatively easy to use and understand. I encourage everyone to try it.
