Turbo Tax is GREAT

The State of Idaho Standard Deduction was incorrect. It did not take in to account the increased deductions for persons over 65 years of age.

Did not calculate amended state return accurately

TurboTax was great until I had to file an amended state tax return. Then it did not calculate the necessary changes properly and would not let me modify the forms manually. I had to find and fill out the forms myself and mail them in. Disappointing.
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

Intuit, please STOP lobbying for complex tax laws

It's our understanding that Intuit lobbies to maintain the current exaggerated complexity of current tax laws. We hope that Intuit/TurboTax will STOP this. This annual tax filing ordeal is unnecessarily stressful for most Americans, imo.
