TurboTax is Good but Slipping!

Turbo tax has always been a fine way to file tax. More recently however, things seem to be slipping as there is too much focus on trying to sell me stuff I don't need and to get me to file my return in online in the cloud!

New on-line version format confusing.

I have used TurboTax for many years. Normally I purchased the CD and downloaded to my computer. Last year I purchased on-line and found it was identical to the format on the CDs. This year I again purchased the on-line version but found it differed from the format I have grown accustomed to and in several screens, there was some confusion. I struggled through but was uncomfortable with the changes. I even had concerns the on-line version may not be from TurboTax and might be malware.

Turbo Tax provides detailed and robust guidance through the tax preparation process. It calls to mind all the items I need to take into account in my return.
