Turbo tax just wants your money

I've used turbo tax for years. Why doesn't turbo tax offer the options to file and mail your state return in order to avoid the fee? They already received my money for the software. No I don't want to file later, I want to mail the return myself and they should provide the proper mailing address. Super unprofessional!

NO LONGER PROVIDES A PHYSICAL CD (in case future install, amendment needed).

TurboTax - Quick and Simple

The user interface for the product TurboTax Deluxe - Desktop has remained relativity consistent through the years. This makes our filing of a simple tax situation that much easier. More of an update process than having to annually relearn the software.

Glitch in Oregon return wasn't fixed for weeks

When I tried to file my taxes, there was a glitch that prevented me. I got an error message that looked like this:
"Information Worksheet: Form 1099-Q is still being worked on. Please return after it has been updated..
Taxpayer's First Name: ....."
I went on the Intuit community forum and discovered that this was a common problem for Oregon users filing a 1099-Q form to take a distribution from a 529 plan. Some of the users in the forum had been complaining to TT for weeks, only to be gaslit and told that it was a problem with an Oregon form, or they were promised that a fix was just around the corner. I had to wait over a week for the bug to be fixed, but not nearly as long as others who started their taxes much earlier.
I have been using Turbo Tax for years and I have occasionally run into little bugs like this, but this was the first time I was completely prevented from fixing it on my own and filing my taxes.

Turbotax Interface and prompting is outdated

Your UI has become clunky and out dated, especially with what fits on the screen.
The constant "add-ons" for a fee are a turn-off and if it weren't for automatic importing of data from last year, I'd have switched to a different software package years ago.
