Turbo Tax is not worth it anymore

Used to love this program, but I'm already looking for an alternative for next year. No CD is a pain - hate having to download software, struggled to view last years file because I couldn't get logged in to the Intuit account, the limited filings is a real disappoint - no longer worth the effort, have 2 different Intuit accounts for the multiple years which you wont let me combine. Overall, this has been an awful tax filing experience.

Avoid using Turbotax for 2025 taxes

Nothing works with Turbotax desktop. Does not accept previous year's returns PDF file despite showing ways to import. Ironically, I did the returns last year with the same turbotax desktop software. Import feature for for 1099 int also failed. Practically I landed up entering everything by hand

5th efile was rejected

There is a bug with Turbo Tax. After completing a fifth tax return, it was initially rejected. But even though I fixed the error, the system counted the rejected 5th return so I was not able to re-transmit. So now I have to mail the return and am seeking a refund of the $25 e-file charge.

The only thing I didn't like was the removal of It's Deductible....that was so much easier for donations!
