North Carolina Program Needs Work

Federal Tax Program is fine. North Carolina tax program is incomplete. Does not account for Bailey's exemption in final prepared document. I had to go in and modify (over-ride) attachments to make it work.

Good Basic Program

For a boiler plate program on as complicated a topic as income taxes, this is probably one of the best ones to use for returns that are not specifically complicated.

In the past, I was TurboTax provided the previous year's information when requested. It didn't this year.

TurboTax Deluxe Federal and State

I've been using TurboTax deluxe for years to do my taxes for both federal and state. It's worked great for me and I wouldn't use anything else.

I was able to file returns for myself and my fiancé. When I noticed estimated state taxes were missing the instructions took me back to correct section to add estimated taxes paid in 2025.
