hated my turbotax experience this year

I've used turbotax for many years and I found the beginning of the process VERY IRRITATING this year to the point that I may not buy turbotax again. I had trouble finding the turbotax package to buy, it kept directing me to just start inputting data but that's not what I wanted. we have a family and even though our taxes are not complicated, I buy the package and we each use it. After a lot of frustration, I found where to buy it. I input my federal taxes and it suggested I save and update so that's what I did. I came back to my computer later to finish my federal and I could see the file in recents but it had 0 data and turbotax couldnt open it so I had to start my federal taxes again. whatever you are doing to make it 'easier' is just making it harder in my opinion. I won't recommend and doubt I'll buy ever again.

Having used TurboTax forever, we were disappointed that it no longer runs on Windows 10. H&R Block's tax software supports Windows 10.

Overall TurboTax is pretty easy to use by what I don't like is the cost. Additionally, why was I charged a processing fee when I purchased TurboTax Deluxe that included both state and federal?

This software just keeps getting better. I use the at-home computer version, not online. It is very simple to complete our taxes, even with a few mild complications in our finances.

State Filing Rip-Off

Deceptive product offering. I bought Deluxe which includes STATE. I expected to be able to file my federal and state with this purchase. But although the product includes STATE, that is software only--not filing electronically. Deceptive and unfair.
