Always been good for me.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and have found it to be easy to understand and use. One issue I did have with it this year was that it doesn't seem to recognize that New York State Pensions are state tax exempt. It treated the pension as fully taxable in New York. I finally had to go through the work sheets to locate Line 26 and manually enter the information to correct the issue.

2025 Taxes Done!

Been Using TurboTax for about 8 years. Would not give it up for nothing. Every year with TurboTax Deluxe, have to pay $40 for 1st state Tax which should be free, and extra $25 fee for e-filing. For 2 Federal, and 2 State returns, a total of $130 for a $55 purchased program. Total $185. But this is America? 4 stars for being able to get this once-a-year hassel done and out of the way.

Tricky Situation 1099-MISC

When entering information from a 1099-MISC, you need to reword the questions as the reason for the 1099-MISC was for observation from the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation. They are not an employer; the income was not for self-employed person this was general income.

It was very dissapointing, no wheres as user friendly as it was in the past.. I've been using TurboTax for over 10 Years and will never use it again. Had to reenter stuff.,especially at the end to get it filed. Hard to save it.
