Great software, too many options and add-ons

I love TT and have been. using it for several years. It seems like this year you were pushing a LOT of different options and add-ons, like doing it online rather than desktop, getting live help, etc. You have to realize that that just overly complicates an already complicated process. The screens, especially the opening screen, look much "busier" than they need to be. Make the options very simple and straightforward. Also realize that a lot of your users are seniors who like to stick to what they already know. For them you should make what they already know EASIER to use. One other thing... as I was transmitting, the program crashed. It just kept spinning on "transmitting," and I was kinda freaking out. Wasn't very easy to locate a support person quickly. Make that phone number EASY TO FIND for emergencies. Turned out that it wasn't really a big deal, but for a little while I was really worried about what was happening. Daniel was very helpful. Might help to put up a list of common situations, like what to do if the program stops responding while transmitting.

Not that easy and does not import all forms

Help is written in hard-to-understand terms and not in depth enough. Would not import 1099-B along with the others. Had missing information. Not easy to understand. Took me 5 hours to slog through.

Purchase and Download Issues

I had trouble with the web taking my credit card info. Then I did not get the complete download. Then the download was for the wrong state.
I am not sure how much was my fault.

not too bad to use

product was easy to use but i was surprised it did not ask for banking information . routing and account number until just before filing it really should have asked for this info as you finish up the federal tax forms like during the review. i went to the form itself and entered the info only to find out it could be done after completing the state taxes just before sending off the return

I've been using TurboTax from its beginning and have grown accustomed to it.
It's easy to use and I have full confidence that my taxes are completed accurately.
My returns are pretty basic, so I don't utilize many of TurboTax's features, but it's comforting to known that they are available.
