Turbo tax is no longer easy

Had to pay $65 more at the end. $40 filing fees which was not noted at purchase and $25 filing fees for the state which was not noted prior to purchase. Also, so many extra vverifications and hoops. It was just much easieer in the past. Also, I had to make 185 corrections for that new digital asset yes or no question. I had to do this one by one instead of allowing me to do this one mass correction!

State filing fees way too high

The "fee" turbo tax charges to submit a state return ($40) is way too high. Add that to the state return filing fee of $30, means I pay $70 to file an electronic return to the state.

Issue with Software

There is a software issue with Form 5695. I initially made a mistake and hit yes on improvements of panelboards, etc. and then went back and hit no once I saw my mistake but did not catch that the program gave me a $1200 credit instead of the $600 that I was entitled. The program said I had no errors. I e-filed and it was rejected both Federal and State. I had to go into forms and correct the error manually and then efiled again.
