The dividends and interest sections are much more cumbersome than in prior years.I used to be able to click the dividends once, then I would stay in that section and add the number of payees. Now Its going back to the main screen for each one.
The estimated tax calculation is clumsy.It would be nice if you could have the actual numbers from the current year listed in each category to help you estimate 2026

IP PIN wrong turn

The process of adding the personal IP PIN number from the IRS is NOT well covered in the software's guidance. I went through the trouble to find it from the IRS before I began doing the taxes with TurboTax. I expected that at the appropriate time (getting ready to do the e-file) there would be guidance from the software to take me to a prompt and allow the opportunity to input the IP PIN. That didn't happen. It took the IRS to reject the return first before I knew that there was a problem, then had to trouble shoot how to fix it. That should not have had to happen. Fix it.

Have been using Turbo Tax for many years now. This year I had a problem with the desktop TurboTax after a state return download which was not performing correctly. Subsequent to the state download I was not able load the Turbo Tax return at all. After many attempts to uninstall and reinstThanksalling the program without any success the help assistant sent me a link to TT community and i found the responses to similar situations with the correction I needed to make, which was to repair the Microsoft Visual C++ program. Once completed I was able to open TT and when I went to reinstall the state return program I saw that it had a repair patch on the program.
Thankfully my return was still intact and I quickly filed my return. Thanks TurboTax!!!!

Always easy, always thorough. I was a little disappointed this year because Its Deductible was retired. I loved that feature.
