Pleased with Turbotax 2022

Although I am behind on filing my 2022 tax return, Turbotax has been helpful in getting this completed. I deducted 1 "star" from the rating because some questions were easier to google than find on Turbotax.

Not As Good As It Used To Be

I have used TurboTax for about 15 years. I don't think it's as good as it used to be. I had difficulty getting the 2025 desktop edition to capture the relevant details of my 2024 return. I had a hard time figuring out why there were additional deductions being taken and had to research this on my own, could not find an explanation in TT, if it was there. I think e-file for states should be included for the price, and not have to pay an additional fee.

I could not e-file my return because of the IP PIN. there is no place to enter a six-digest number. The only place I could find was a five-digest number that was a number of your choice. Very frustrating. I have been e-filing my tax returns for 10 years.
