Turbo Tax critique

somewhat disappointed with 40$ processing fee.
I paid for software to cover e filing/processing of both Fed and State taxes and ended up paying an additional 60$. For what? I've used Turbo Tax for many years and its a great product but I feel i need to look for alternative tax filing methods next year.
