Problem with getting help

Turbo Tax is a good reliable tax program

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have found it to be very accurate. I did have a problem with year with one item on the State of Arkansas return. I had additional Car Sales Tax which it would not do the State Drop down to show Arkansas and to enter the amount. Lost a partial refund due to this program problem.

TurboTax is the Ultimate Tax Tool

I have used the TurboTax Deluxe software for filing my taxes for at least a decade. Always easy to use and very detailed. I did not have the need for professional help since I am retired and the only income is from social security and annuities. Absolutely love this format and am a loyal customer.

You need to explain better

your explanation of 1099-R with a Roth conversion plus a RMD pay out left things to be desired. You need a better explanation on how to enter your 1099-R when those situations come up. I was pretty dissatisfied with turbo tax.

Turbo Tax is misleading with their advertising

Every single year I buy the version that is supposed to include one free state, and every year I end up trapped at the end of the process having to pay to submit my state return. I'm using Turbo Tax because of the convenience of my prior years being automatically downloaded, but every year I am frustrated by this. This feels very misleading.
