TURBO TAX GETS WORSE AND WORSE

I ALREADY FILLED THIS OUT TODAY WITH THIS FILING, BUT BEFORE I COULD EVEN EXIT THE PROGRAM, I WAS REDIRECTED TO THIS PAGE. I HATE TURBO TAX. IT IS NOT MY FRIEND

Great product

The product is outstanding but you need to add a backup feature that backs up not only my return specific files but also the files needed to run turbo tax. One year my computer died and the next year my previous year's files were, of course, not available

Turbotax is excellent except for a small bug

Turbotax has worked very well for me for more than 20 years. This is first year I've had a problem submitting my return electronically due to a problem with the program. The problem occurred when I answered the questions regarding my withdrawal from my IRA. When I entered the part of the distribution that was an RMD the program would not let me submit my return. I had to enter the total amount of my withdrawal to get my return submitted. One of your senior agents said that's what the program required me to do. If that's true, then why even ask the question? That makes no sense. I think you have a minor bug in the program which over all is an excellent program.

TTax will not allow me to file federal return electronically. "There is an update for your version of TurboTax." Checking for updates, it says "Up to Date."OK, will mail it.
But it will not allow me to file my NY State return electronically either! Thanks for not much.

Disappointed

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and very year it gets more costly to use and the instructions get more complicated. And that is because we get all these third party recommendations, that are extra cost. These can be offered, but need to be made they are clearly optional. I didn't feel that was the case this year.
