Great for Federal and (multi) state returns

This year I had to file taxes in another state as a non-resident due to work travel. Turbo Tax made it easy and automatically updated Federal and both state returns while completing the questions and loading data.

I use Turbo Tax for decades and I am very pleased with this program.
This year I had for the first time a IP-PIN set on my IRS account.
I forgot about it and e-filed the return and it was not accepted. Then I typed in my IP-PIN and e-filed again. Not accepted again, because I used the IP-PIN from 2025 and not looked up the new 2026. after that fixed, the return was accepted.
Here is my proposal:
Turbo Tax should ask about a IP-PIN and remind to get the latest one from IRS.

Guidance

Guidance seemed a little different this year. It had duplicate listing of previous entries, such as Bethpage or Fidelity. This caused me to think i was missing something. I downloaded Fidelity and it still listed it as not entered.

Software Needs Improving!

I've been using Turbo Tax for many years. I've had no issues with your software except the past few years. I file and select review taxes for errors, and it always says that no errors can be found only to receive an email that says my returns have been rejected! Now I can't seem to recall the reasons for past return rejections but on this year return it says that the reason for the rejection was that I didn't put in my IP Pin. I know that I did this for both my wife and myself, but it was still rejected. I used the same 5-digit pin that I've been using for the past years. So, in the action email it says the following: Once you’ve opened your return in TurboTax, the details about what needs updating will be displayed and that TurboTax will walk me through on how to correct the issue. Well, I did this and there was nothing about what needed to be updated. So, I had to redownload my return onto TurboTax and file an amendment. Why does this happen??? When you review a return for errors this should have been found and could have easily been correct before e filing!
