I did it myself as I do each year. I did not see ANYTHING describing the changes to forms or to IRS requirements. Disappointed in this.

Sometimes a little more guidance is needed, especially if you are filing Married Filing Separately but overall it gets the job done.

Trouble with 1099-Qs

Have been using Turbo Tax for at least two decades and find it to be a superior, mostly easy-to-use product. This year, I had a problem entering 1099-Qs for my granddaughters Maryland 529 account. After several attempts to generate a worksheet, I learned by trial and error that when entering more than one 1099-Q, the worksheets had to be assigned a different name. The instructions were not clear

I have used TurboTax for my taxes for over 20 years and have always found them to be accurate and provide excellent guidance. I have never had any issues with the interface or compatibility with my computer/printer setup. The program features are very robust and have helped me many times to find answers to whatever question that i have.
