As usual, you get irritating upsell messages through the whole process. Will not purchase Turbo Tax again until it has It's Deductible or a similar feature.

Go back to how you use to have it set up!!!!

I have used turbo tax for about 10 years. I file married, joint. I claim only social security and my wife has only a W2. The past turbo tax programs were set up to enter one complete taxpayers' information at a time. This year, in the middle of entering my wife's W2 info, the question "has anyone received social security benefits" came up. I clicked "no" since I was entering her info and she had not received any social security benefits. It was not until later that I realized I had to go back and click "yes"---at which time I had to start entering my tax information. VERY CONFUSING!!! Go back to how you use to do it---COMPLETELY ENTER ONE TAXPAYER'S INFO, AND WHEN FINISHED, COMPLETELY ENTER THE OTHER TAXPAYER'S INFO. Please adhere to the KISS rule-----KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID!!!!

I keep coming back year after year - it even uploads last year's return and remembers cumulative data.

Edit and delete boxes for 1099s

1. Difficulty in deleting previous years 1099 R entries. I had to go to the Help section (after signing in which is cumbersome) The help menu items shld. be in the offline drop down buttons. Also add Delete boxes for old or out dated entries for 1099R etc. SHld. not have to go to "Forms".
2.Also had to "Add" a new 1099 vs editing the old previous ones B/F.
3.STOP doing spyware tactics like FaceBook, Microsoft Windows 11. the Public dislikes leaving their personal tax info. in YOUR CLOUD. We want to do the return on OUR drives...not yours! Do Good. Dont be EVIL.

Not Accurate for Michigan State Police Pension

Not accurate. Michigan state return tries to tax for police officer pension. No question in interview addresses it. I had to go in manually to change it.
