529 Expensing needs a great deal of attention!

Education expense entry for off-campus room and board expenses was extremely wonky and required that I buy both the online and desktop versions to access the Student Information Worksheet and enter my numbers manually. Even that was not at all intuitive.
Please address the remarkable lack or failure of the interview to ask for the entry of qualified 529 expenses which are not listed on the institution's 1098-T (because they pertain to off-campus expenses).

TurboTax is Trash!

TurboTax is garbage software and does nothing but pop up with adds about paying for extra services. TurboTax crashed when I was almost done with my taxes and I had to start back from the beginning. I will not use TurboTax again.

Not the same without It's Deductible!

I've used Turbotax every year for over a decade. I've used It's Deductible since before it was acquired by TurboTax. Suddenly it disappeared this year and the marketing info for TurboTax has deceptive language giving no indication that it's gone - perhaps even implying it's still thee. As a result, I had to separately license a donation valuation replacement which doesn't integrate nearly as well due to import limitations within TurboTax. I don't know if there are other tax software companies out there which include something similar to It's Deductible, but I'll certainly be looking next year before I purchase my tax software, I have no desire to license additional products and do extra work if I don't have to.

It is a useful aide. It is intuative and gives you options. It is the only system I use. I thank you for this system. t is the only system that I use.
