I have been using Turbo tax for a number of years. It is easy to use. Just answer the questions and fill in the amounts. Turbo Tax calculates and puts everything in place.

Problem with TurboTax 2024 Home and Business

I've been using TurboTax for many years with great success. Very easy to use and your tech support is awesome. I would give a 5-star rating, but, for the first time ever, your 2024 product has frozen on me several times. I have to close down the program and restart it.

IT WAS EASY BUT THE 1099-MISC, SCHEDULE C INFO MADE MY HEAD SPIN. THE PFD REPORTING COULD BE MADE EASIER.

2024's TurboTax Deluxe is unstable and crash-prone

I've been using Turbotax for decades and will likely continue. However, this year I found the Turbotax Deluxe desktop version especially unstable and crash-prone. Despite troubleshooting this in various ways, the software would stop responding when I would be on very specific screens; most notably, the last screen of the "Review" section where the second appearance of the "We Guarantee the Best Possible Outcome for You" message. Every time I click on the "Continue" button, the software gets hung up... and only will re-stabilize on my Windows 11 laptop after I press CTRL-ALT-DEL and open the Window Task Manager. It happened on one other screen as well. I hope the next update will rectify this, as it made me hesitate to finish electronically filing the first of my finished returns for this tax season (thankfully, it transmitted without a hitch).
