It recalculates whenever needed. It still has carryover issues from the prior return to this years

TT Guidance

I thought it was more complicated than usual as it asked more questions than usual about our retirement income (IRA's), etc. Moreover, it kept prompting if I want to do this on-line and honestly, I don't know because i am skeptical if it would be secure enough.

New York return is flawed

This happened in the past two years. When I try to print my NY return I receive this message "Your New York Return contains non-final forms, which are currently not available". Therefore I was unable to print the return.
And yet my NY return was e-filed and "accepted"!
Not sure I'm going to use TurboTax next year.

Not Perfect

Generally I like TurboTax except for a couple of issues. When checking help, sometimes an answer does not show. The main issue I have is that unlike for the state estimated taxes, the federal has no guidance. The program automatically calculates the estimation and it is not seen until you do a printout. Also, if you finish the taxes early, the program would not let me type in this review until I opened the program today and updates were made.
